Once again the Cape Cod & Islands
Council on good old Cape Cod is presenting for the
sixth year in a
row their 2008 Caribbean Weekend. September 5-7.
This is a Venturing event that has grown
each year with 185 youth in attendance last year.
Crews and Ships should plan on arriving
at Camp Greenough Yarmouth Port, MA on Friday evening.
Please check-in
at Maushop Lodge starting at 7pm, Friday night movies
at 9pm.
Planned events, Shooting, Sailing,
Canoeing, Ocean Kayaking, Archery, COPE, and many
others in camp activities. Saturday night. The BEACH
PARTY and bon fire will be in full swing down at the
pond as the sun goes down, followed by a late night
movie for those who can stay awake.
This event is growing every year - get
your reservations in early.
Cost per person
is $35.00
This event is open to all Venturing
Crews and Venture Scouts in New England, and as in
the past our
event is open to guests. What a great time to recruit
new members in your Crew and bring them to a large
event and let them see how much fun Venturing can be.
Crew Advisors must have current health forms for all
participants, and please advise us if you have a youth
who is not swim qualified.
