Heritage can be defined as an inherited lot or portion. In Scouting, our heritage is found in the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Cape Cod & Islands Council is providing a tangible way to honor this heritage.
The Heritage Garden has been created adjacent to the Camp Greenough Chapel. The garden’s focus is a brick patio nestled among the pines and oaks alongside the chapel seating area.
The patio features bricks that can be engraved to honor a Scout, Scouter, or friend of Scouting. They can be engraved to commemorate a special achievement or occasion, or simply to say thank you to a special person.
Proceeds from the sale of commemorative bricks will be placed in a dedicated fund to be used for significant projects at Camp Greenough.
