for boys and girls age 11-13, Scouts and non-scouts!
We have updated the programming for Ultimate Greenough to include more opportunities for youth to build and learn new skills and Scout rank advancements.
Ultimate Greenough is a co-ed summer program for youth 11-13 years old. Ultimate Greenough, provides an outdoor, action packed day for girls and boys. Some of the activities offered will be: outdoor survival skills, fire building, shooting sports, extended swim (3x a week), use of climbing tower and zip line! Make friends, and build self-confidence that will last a life time.
Overview: This program has been created specifically for girls & boys 11-13 years old. Participants have fun developing outdoor skills. No experience required.
For Scouts BSA: Rank requirements (and possibly a merit badge) will be worked in as a natural part of the program opportunities. Bring your handbook along for requirement sign off with your Scoutmaster’s permission. And watch for special Merit Badge presenters each week!
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 AM to 4PM.
Structure: Participants are organized into groups of 8 to 10 for activities and projects.

Program: The program content is based on outdoor learning opportunities including: fire building, wilderness survival, climbing, shooting, cooking, kayaking, and pioneering. Program consultants such as Natural Resources Officers, will enhance the program. The program is planned so learning is a natural outcome of the activities.
