Come enjoy Fun in the Sun this summer at Cub Scout Day Camp. The Cape Cod & Islands Council will offer five weeks of Cub Scout Day Camp at beautiful Camp Greenough in Yarmouth Port – the heart of the mid-Cape. You don’t have to be a Scout to attend!
Day Camp is staffed by experienced adult leaders and senior scouts. Programs operate Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Extended hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) are available for an additional fee. Sign up for one week, or the entire summer. Boys and Girls entering first grade must be accompanied by and adult (age 18 or over) partner.

The Cub Scout Day Camp Program provides an introduction to Scouting’s Outdoor Program. Activities are conducted in an outdoor setting, close to home and during daylight hours.
Program activities include; extended swim (3x a week), fishing, crafts, hiking, biking, nature study, games, fieldsports, archery, and BB gun shooting.
Scouts participating in Day Camp are better prepared and eager to accept the challenge of residential camping. Through supervised activities, boys and girls develop self-reliance and resourcefulness, learn age appropriate skills, establish new friendships and, of course, have lots of FUN.

Camp activities are age-appropriate. Cub Scouts will be placed in dens with boys or girls of the same age and with scouts from their home units whenever possible. Parents are always welcome to participate. Boys and Girls entering first grade must be accompanied by an adult partner. We strongly encourage dens to participate in the week-long activities together, with their den leader and take advantage of car-pool opportunities.
The mission of Cub Scout Day Damp is simple; “have as much fun as possible.” Therefore, day camp is not intended to be an advancement camp.
